We Are One - Prayer for April 24, 2022

Today's Prayer

Dear God,

Help us set aside our preconceived opinions.

Prejudice, arrogance, and fear of others not like ourselves has consumed our world too long.

We no longer wish to be shut out from one another.

Words are not enough to make this change. It is time for action.

Each of us must find a way to see you in every face that does not look like mine.

To see you in all who celebrate your presence in their life, though differently than I do.

Thank you, God, for your gifts of strength, courage and compassion, as we begin a new connection with one another.

Amen. And, so it is.
