I Own My Power - Prayer for 12/22/22

Joy is not for the faint of heart.

It opens you up and renders you vulnerable to disappointment and loss (what goes up must come down after all.)

Every joyful moment also contains the knowledge that it will not last.

So, yes, joy is an act of resistance.

Today, I consciously cultivate joy.

I courageously allow myself to feel joyous.

I revel and dance in it.

By doing so I resist fear, inaction, and efforts to steal my energy or assert power over me.

By owning my joy, I own my power.
