Hope in Our Hearts - Prayer for 1/5/23


We cannot foresee what our day will bring,

so we carry hope in our hearts.

Hope opens the way to possibilities to correct wrong words not yet spoken,

actions not yet expressed, healing not yet asked for.

Hope is what is there at the end of our rope, a road, or a closed door.

It is the energy that propels us to move forward

to look for your light to shine favor upon us.

It is there at the end of our day to show us a way to begin again.

Thank you, for HOPE is the heart, the optimism, the persistence,

and the evidence of you in our lives.

Amen
