Lately I’ve come to recognize the attachments I have that don’t serve me well.
In some cases, I’m attached to circumstances and situations that, while familiar, leave me feeling disempowered and drained.
In other cases, I’m attached to people whose daily challenges create chaotic, overwhelming energy. When I’m in this energy, I want to help, but consistently find that I can’t.
In every case of attachment, I see how much energy I invest and find myself talking to you and asking you to guide my steps as I look at how to live my life without the desire for difficulty.
In my deepest faith, I know you help me choose my actions. In my connection with you, I thank you for helping me choose lovingly for myself.
