As I Hold Your Hand - Prayer for 11/9/22

Sometimes I can feel anxious when I work towards my goals.

Disappointment becomes the pillow where I lay my head.

I am learning to be still, take your hand in prayer,

and allow you to make the uneasiness in me disappear.

Your touch ignites my courage, and the mountains in front of me move.

The valleys I face rise to meet my feet,

as your light turns away whatever disturbs your plans for me.

Sweet Spirit, how grateful my heart is as I hold your hand.
